SABnzbd+ Error
I've recently got a new iMac - I did a migration from the old to the new, including programs. Since I have done this, SABnzbd+ isn't working. I've uninstalled it a number of times, and reinstalled it (including trying previous versions) - I continuously get a SABnzbd+ Error with the options to Open Console or Terminate. Anyone able to help?
Re: SABnzbd+ Error
What kind of error?
Please open Utilities->Terminal and type
/Applications/SABnzbd/Content/MacOS/SABnzbd --console
and report back any error messages you see.

Re: SABnzbd+ Error
Well I ended up doing an update of the OS and it has resolved itself - all working now so happy to close off the post.

Re: SABnzbd+ Error
Hi Admin
Recently installed MacOS Ventura 13.0 - subsequently installed 13.1 when it was released but per the original post I am also getting the SABnzbd+ Error with the options to Open Console or Terminate.
I select Open Console which also opens the SABnzbd window and downloads start however the SABnzbd+ Error with the options to Open Console or Terminate dialogue box remains locked in the middle of the screen.
I no longer have the SABnzbd icon on the top menu bar/shortcuts bar of Safari.
To close SABnzbd I have to go to the Console window and terminate (regardless of the fact SABnzbd is working and downloading the Console says SABnzbd Not Responding)
As per your suggestion to the original post on this thread I have run the terminal command ... response from Terminal is ... -bash: /Applications/SABnzbd/Content/MacOS/SABnzbd: No such file or directory
Brents-MacBook-Air-M1:~ BrentMacBookPro$
Not sure if the move to Ventura has corrupted or deleted the directory in question - advice much appreciated!

Re: SABnzbd+ Error
This is a 4 year old forum post, most likely your problem is not the same.
Have you tried reinstall?

Re: SABnzbd+ Error
Thanks for that @safihre - deleted the old version (2.3.9 if you can believe it!!) and downloaded the latest 3.7.1. After a little config issue with it looking for the old Plush UI I am up and running once more.
Much appreciated .... I had assumed that Updates and new versions were being automatically applied .... will remember to check manually going forward.
Thanks again - have a great New Year!
