SABmini

Post by ng4ever »

Does anyone know if it still works with the latest version of SABnzbd ? SABnzbd 3.6.0

How long do you all think it will continue to work for SABnzbd ? Sense it is not being updated anymore and was removed from the Apple app store :(

It is a pretty old app I know.

Any help greatly appreciated.

As long as we don't make any breaking changes to the API, it will stay working. But since so many other apps also rely on us not changing the API, it will probably stay the same for years to come.

Ok thanks.

Do you have any idea why the developer removed it ? Curious.

Maybe not updated and then Apple removed it?

Could you let me know when SABnzbd is about to make any breaking changes to the API in advance if possible ? Curious to know.

Do you plan on SABnzbd making any breaking changes to the API anytime in the future or soon ? Next year or 3 ?

I apologize for reviving this old thread, but it finally happened. I updated Sabnzbd from 3.5(?) to the latest stable build today and my Sabmini app, a beloved app I use nearly everyday, no longer works... that's actually not even remotely true. It works great still, but the categories used to show up in a dropdown upon selecting a download. Now, the categories do not show up. I realize it is trivial, but all other apps pale in comparison to this simple, perfect app.

What changed for categories since then that would break the listing of them?

The list of categories is no longer part of the queue output for every queue call. It's now a seperate request. For performance and separation of responsibilities in the code.

You don't like the alternative: nzb360?
