its not skipping par download

I have 2 laptop with sabnzbd and same config, but only one of laptop is
skipping par download in the beginning, the other dont, and Download all par2 files isnt check at all.
what i am missing here? I also tried to uninstall and even install a older version, but same problem.

That also depends on how the post processing setting for the specific job is configured. Is it set to +Delete? If it's just set to Download, it will download all par2.

And we can only skip par2 correctly if they are named normally, not if they are obfuscated.

not sure i follow you, because I load in the same nzb file in each laptop and it works in on laptop its skipping the par files.

In the queue, after you added the download, click the little arrow on the right and see if it says +Delete.

Then it must be some other setting. It also takes a few percent of downloading before the par2 are disabled, that doesn't happen right away.
Are both systems also using the latest version of Sabnzbd?

I tried to compare both settings, so I was sure and its identical. both systme use same version.
it always work okay, but the other day i had to reinstall windows and install sab again, and so the problems started.
u are right it doesnt happen right away, but after some time I go to all the files and can see its dl all pars

Maybe it's a bug. You can enable Debug logging in the Status window and then after it happens again click Show Logging in the Status window and then send the logs to me at safihre@sabnzbd.org. Update me here so it doesn't get lost in spam folder.

I checked the logs, and the problem is the filenames.
They are all random. So we do not know when we download a .par2 file, which other par2 files belong to the same group. It might be a download with multiple sets of par2 files (for example multiple episodes in 1 download), so to be safe we don't pause any par2 so we always have some data to go on.
See here the filenames from your log, how can we know what belongs together?

so I guess it makes since, but if i run same nzb file on my other pc so its skipping the files.
