Insert image not working...

Does anyone know how to insert an image any posting? When I click on the image button it doesn't open the dialog box for me to find that image and insert it.

The image button adds BBCode tags around a URL. The URL should point to wherever your image is hosted.

I'm sorry… I know what a URL is but I don't know what a BBCode is. The image I want to insert is not from a website but from my PC.

You can't directly upload an image from your PC to this forum. So, to make an image visible in your post, you must first upload it to somewhere on the Internet. Best to use an image hosting website. I've been using Imgur as my image host for many years. It's free.

BBCode is what this forum offers as a formatting markup language. It allows you to format your posts. Some examples: here's some bold text, some italic text and some underlined text.

And here's what you get if you post a URL surrounded by BBCode image tags:
