sabnzbd on Synology NAS - Default Base Folder

Post by Heathen6666 »

Hi,

sabnzbd on my Synology NAS has been working fine for the last few years, no problems at all.

But recently the Default Base Folder has changed from /volume1/downloads/test to /volume1/@appstore/sabnzbd/var.

I can't see the new folder via windows explorer but have found it via SSH (But don't have permissions to it?)

Is there a way to change it back to the folder I originally set?

Many thanks

It's a change by Synology what the packages are allowed to access, so now we had to switch to this folder.

I recently ran into this as well. My folder locations were automatically changed to this new Default Base Folder, which broke my integrations (Radarr/Sonarr did not have permissions to access).

While you may not be able to change the Default Base Folder, I was able to revert the folder locations back to my original locations by updating the path back to my original path/folders. This fixed my integrations and all is well again.
