I've recently purchased a new router and have changed the IP address of my server which is running Sabnzbd.
I now can't access the Sabnzbd web interface using the address - http://192.x.x.x:8800/sabnzbd
Can somebody please offer a suggestion on how I can get this to work?
Thanks,
Benny

Re: Sabnzbd Web Interface
Did you hard-code the server's IP address?
Find the sabnzbd.ini file and change the "host" field.

Re: Sabnzbd Web Interface
Thanks for your response.
The host field is the local host loopback 127.0.0.1
Any other suggestions?

Re: Sabnzbd Web Interface
Change the host to 0.0.0.0 and restart sabnzbd.
Re: Sabnzbd Web Interface
I tried changing the host IP to 0.0.0.0 but same result - Still doesn't work.
The message says - The connection was refused when attempting to contact 192.x.x.x:8800
Any other suggestions?

Re: Sabnzbd Web Interface
Look in the sabnzbd.log file to see on which address it actually listens.
Re: Sabnzbd Web Interface
Are you sure you have set the port to 8800 and not 8080?
Re: Sabnzbd Web Interface
can you actually ping the server from you desktop?
if not; ping the router from the server. if you can ping the router from the server and you can ping the router from your desktop, you probably have different subnetmasks.

Hi All,
Thanks for all your help and suggestions... I've finally worked it out and it was my mistake... doh!
I was changing the host IP in the installation sabnzbd.ini file and not the actual configuration file.
So the original suggestion worked!
Thanks again.
Cheers,
Benny
