I now run version 2.3.9. I'm trying to update to v 3.1.1. I have d/l the new version. When I try to install it, a message pops up and says to close nzb exe first.
Does this mean I have to uninstall my older version? Thanks in advance for any help.

No, just open sabnzbd and from the menu choose Shutdown Sabnzbd .
After that, you can install the new version.
