Improve unpacking speed

I have a Windows 10 machine with a SSD for downloading and OS, I have three 2 terabyte 5400 rpm drives for storage. With all the new huge 4k movies, unpacking is tacking around an hour. is there a way to speed this up with hardware upgrades. System is an i5 with 16gigs.

So you are downloading to the SSD and then unpacking to the 5400rpm HDD's?
Or from 1 HDD to another HDD? 5400 RPM is indeed not very fast.
Do you have Direct Unpack enabled?

Yes dl to SSD and then unpack to 5400. Most of the large capacity drives are 5400.

What unpack-speed times are you looking at? Should not be too bad.

I think it is because most of the big 4K remix need repair so Direct Unpack does not start

Aaah yes, wel in that case it might be worth it to get a few block (so not monthly) providers so that you have less chance of missing blocks and no repair is needed.
Just make sure they are from a different backbone (many providers are just resellers):
