SABNZBD freezing up PC
Hello, I am having problem with SABNZBD freezing up my pc when I'm downloading. I am using Radarr and Sonarr but it's more of a problem with Radarr. Maybe because of the larger files? Although, it happens with both. I am running Windows 10 on a newly built PC with a Ryzen 3700x. Temps seem fine and it's not stressing the CPU at all. Internet speeds are good, everything is working well any other time. I'm at a loss and any help is greatly appreciated.
Re: SABNZBD freezing up PC
Anyone willing to look at logs?
Re: SABNZBD freezing up PC
I thought I'd update this page and hopefully help someone else down the line. So far I have checked temps, they are good, updated bios, updated all drivers, tested ram, ran benchmark test, pc came back working fine, nothing fixed this issue. So I did a fresh windows install, the issue remained. Finally, I took it in to a local computer repair center because I am at a loss and this is not my forte. They said that the pc is fine but SAB is a very resource heavy program and causing my pc to lock up. I don't know if that is the case but I have the pc back and the first movie I downloaded worked well until unpack. At that point The "lost connection to sabnzbd" came up and was crawling in speed. I couldn't open any other app and finally, the pc shutdown.
Re: SABNZBD freezing up PC
Sorry for the slow response, I was on vacation.
It seems you have an IO-problem, how are your unpack settings? Do you have multiple disks? Multiple filesystem?
Have you tried limiting the download speed? What is your download speed?
