I have read several posts on SABYenc and am still confused.
In the SAB wiki it states"In SABnzbd 2.0.0 we introduced a new module called sabyenc". I have SAB 2.3.2 [1cac579] and am not sure how to find this module.
I have python 2.7.12 (64 bit) installed
Do I need to install SABYenc 3.3.2 ?
thank you

On which platform is your Sabnzbd running?
On windows and Mac, everything has been taken care of

Windows 7
Re: SABYenc and SABnzbd module
And you installed the installer/standalone of Windows? Then everything is OK already.
(Otherwise you would see a warning in SABnzbd about Sabyenc)

Re: SABYenc and SABnzbd module
I installed it, meaning it's in my "remove programs" win 7 settings.
Is there no Sabyenc setting or way to see it as a file anywhere? For example, if my DL speed was 45mb/sec and then upgraded to 100, how would I turn it on? That is not my case, but how do you find the feature/module?

Re: SABYenc and SABnzbd module
It is already on. You cannot turn it of or off. You cannot find it. It is just there.
Re: SABYenc and SABnzbd module

FWIW:
if you can find and open sabnzbd.log, you will see something like:

SABYenc module (v3.3.2)... found!Re: SABYenc and SABnzbd module
I have 5 "sabnzbd.log" files. The first file is sabnzbd.log, a text file.
The other 4 files are sabnzbd.log.1, sabnzbd.log.2, sabnzbd.log.3 and sabnzbd.log.5 (skipping "4"). Those other 4 files required me to select Notepad to open them, while the original was already a text document. Only the "log.3" file had what you posted. It showed: "SABYenc module (v3.3.2)... found!", preceded by "2017-12-28", even though "sabnzbd.log" has the date of today. Does that make sense?
thank you again
