Install on OSX 10.11

Post by foggy239 »

Unable to open or connect to newly installed sabnzbd.
First installed 1.1 and when opening from applications, get nothing. Unable to connect through localhost:8080/sabnzbd or 127.0.0.1:8080/sabnzbd/ as well.

Then installed 1.2 with same results, application downloads and move to applications folder successfully but unable to connect or open.

Deleted application and restarted.

Reinstalled 1.0 with the same results.

No install wizard on any of the updates.

Any thoughts on what might be wrong? (mac firewall is off, xfinity is provider)

What happens exactly when you double click the application after you moved it to the Applications folder?

It pops up briefly on the task bar at the top right and immediately disappears.

Strange. So it's something on your computer, since the 1.1.1 and 1.0.0 releases have been thoroughly tested across platforms.
The way 1.2.0 was build is different, can you try downloading that again?
And then let's run it from the console, this way we can see the errors. So after putting 1.2.0RC1 in the Applications, run this in the Console:

Code: Select all

/Applications/SABnzbd.app/Content/MacOS/SABnzbd --console
What output do you get?
