Retry download missing articles after adding another server?

Post by Flippi »

Hello,

This is my configuration: main downloadserver with priority 0.
Another server with priority 1 as a backup for missing articles on the main server.

I tried to download a series of files, but I forgot to set the backup server active.
The result is a number of uncomplete rar-files (because of missing articles) and a set of complete par-files, but with unsufficient blocks to repair.

When I set my backup server active after the failed repair, is there a way to download only the missing articles (not complete files) in order to bring everything to a good end?

Thanks in advance,

Flippi

No, you will have to re-download.
There's an issue with the way NZB files work, that makes it extremely difficult
to insert missing articles in files.
Given the low number of times this occurs, we won't invest in this.
I admit it's sad when you miss 10% of a 50G download.
