Extremely slow d/l ONYL with SABnzbd v1

Post by haretz »

Hi guys,

I wonder if any of you have any ideas about how to fix this: ALL my d/ls are ridiculously slow (and I means 15 b/s slow) on SABnzbd v1.x...this has nothing to do with my usenet or internet providers as NZBGet works fine using the same providers. Also, SABNzbd 0.x never had his issue.

If I reinstall v1.x, the first d/l usually goes fine and then it goes back to crawling speeds...

Any clues?

Thank you so much

Hi, apologies for the lack of information: I run it on a Retina 5K, 27-inch, Late 2014 iMac with 24gb of RAM, running a fully updated El Capitan. I currently run SABNzbd 1.0.3, but this has happened to all 1.x versions so far for me

Did you try a different download? It just sounds like your downloads are not available on the server.
How about something that surely isn't taken down with DCMA, so something like an Ubuntu ISO for example.

If that's not the case, go into Settings and turn of Load balancing, in Switches.

Hi, I don't think that is it: the same downloads, on the same servers, on NZBget or NZBin, work ok at full speed! Therefore, it doesn't seem to me that this would be DMCA-related, right?

I will try the Load Balancing idea. Thank you,

Virus scanner?
Tell your scanner to skip SABnzbd's temp download folder.
