Just set up sabnzbd, but downloads not starting

Hello,

I set up sickbeard with sabnzbd, and I have a 200 GB block from news demon, which I purchased back in 2012 (lol).

According to the news demon site, my block is still active, and I entered the server information and my test connection was successful.

Sickbeard grabbed the NZB for a show I was testing with, and I see the episode is in the queue however the download is not starting.

I google'd around and read a thread to clear the cache folder, but there is no cache folder in my AppData/sabnzbd folder (This is my first download attempt).

I also tried to restart the server, change ports to 443, but no avail the download still isn't starting.

Does anyone have an idea on what could be wrong? Is there a way I can test further to pinpoint what the issue is? Thanks!

Are you sure sabnzbd is not paused?
Are you sure the download is not paused?
What does the time remaining say?
What is listed in the Connections tab of the Status window?

Here is the download window, I don't believe it is paused, nor the download paused. I'm not sure how to check if sabnzbd is not paused? I hit the play button at the top panel.

What is the result when you click the "Test" button in Config->Servers?
Does your server have the "Default" category enabled ion Config->Servers?

Test results in a pop up 'Connection Successful!'

And in categories there is only 'Default' so I believe it is enabled.

If all of my settings are correct, I wonder if my usenet host is the problem? I am using a block that I purchased 4 years ago and I wonder if that's an issue. I have no clue why it's not working. I can try to purchase a new block from another host and see if that works. Can anyone recommend a host to buy from?

Or try some of the trial accounts? Like usenet.farm.

Yes, looks like the host was the problem, I'm able to download with a usenet.farm account... Despite having a valid account and the newsdemon site saying my block is active, I wasn't getting any bandwidth...
