Removing error messages in main interface of new skin

Post by kevindd992002 »

Is there any way to hid the error messages in the main interface of the new default skin? I have one usenet account that I shared with my Dad and when something downloads and we're both using the account, I see all these cannot connect to server error and these are expected. I don't want to revert to another skin as I'm linking the new one except for this minor annoyance.

Hide them no matter what? No, you can only remove them when they appear by clicking the little X on the right next to them.
What would be the point of error messages if you don't see them..

Well for the old default them, you can manually go to status to check them. In this new default one, they're there all the time.

Yes, the reasoning being that errors are there to be taken care of, not ignored.
Kind of one of the reasons I created this skin, so this will probably not change.

I noticed that in the new skin you press the delete button for one of the completed downloads in the history but am not presented with two choices of "removing the nzb" OR "removing the nzb and deleting the files" like it used to before. Why was this removed and what is the default action of that delete button?

Remove NZB and files, is the default action.
But just like before this won't delete any files if the download completed fine. Only on failed downloads or items from the queue that have partial files, those will be removed.

Why was the remove nzb option only removed? Was it found to be useless?

Yeah, that's what was explained to me in another thread. Any particular reason why it won't delete the files if the download completed fine?
