Strange that there is no unrar (anymore) in /usr/local/bin/.

You can follow https://forums.sabnzbd.org/viewtopic.php?f=16&t=9844 to update SABnzbd on your system.
First check with

Code: Select all

cat /etc/apt/sources.list | awk '{ print $3 }'
which Debian version you have. Probably jessie, so use that.
I do that when i come back from work.

But this guide is to update sources , right? Not for unrar.

It's indeed to update SABnzbd. Not for unrar, as you have already manually installed the newest unrar.
