I have a problem, when I'm downloading a nzb it sometimes downloads files for about 90% en then goes to the next file en then usually the same happens to that file and so on.
I've had this problem in v.4.4/4.5 and 4.6.
i'm using windows xp 32 and there are no error messages in my log

Check your connection in Status and Interface settings window.
Use Test Server in Config > Servers.
We will probably ask you to do a test using only basic settings. - Do you experience problems during repair or unpacking?
Enable +Debug logging in the Status and Interface settings window and share the relevant parts of the log here using [ code ] sections.

Can you explain further please.
Do the downloads get put in your history? Are they labelled as failed? Does it say how many blocks were missing?

the download stays in the queue but stops downloading

Do you have multiple servers defined and maybe backup servers?

yes i have a backup server but this one doesn't always work

OK, you hit our most painful "known issue".
You will see that the jobs will complete.
This problem will be tackled in a later release, since its a very fundamental
flaw in the way the download method is designed.
So it needs a lot of redesign.
For now the work around is to disable the non-working server (set connections to 0).Blocking of the queue can occur in the combination of a missing
article and a non-responding (backup) server
