Hey guys,
I've been having a lot of trouble the last month downloading. I seem to be short 2000 + blocks almost every time.
I tried running three different servers same outcome.
Then I tried running through a VPN. And everthing worked first shot.
Seems the Australian government have been blocking sites and screwed everything up.
I was wondering if there is a way to change the IP and gateway sabnzbd access the internet?
For the last 5 years I've been running sabnzbd on a qnap and not had a single problem it's great software.
I'd like to keep running sabnzbd on the qnap but when I run a VPN client on the qnap it loses connection. So I'd like to change the network settings of sabnzbd to match the vpn client

Re: VPN
Is there filtering at the article level?
Aren't you using SSL for the connection to the Usenet server?
Is the government filtering or does your Usenet provider do that?
So far we do not have direct support for VPN in SABnzbd.
VPN is transparent, so SABnzbd won't even see it.

Re: VPN
not sure what filtering at the article level means.
I'm using SSL. I have tried all ports.
Strange how all of a sudden I need a VPN. Now I'm just trying to figure out the best setup
