First time poster. Be gentle!
On a fresh virgin install of windows, running sabnzd on chrome. After working with no issues for about a week, I've started to get the following error when downloads are being repaired.
par2.exe. Application Error
The application was unable to start correctly (0x0000142). Click OK to close the application.
It doesn't appear to happen on all files, as some repair. Others don't. If I click 'Retry' the error reoccurs. Anyone got a fix or suggestion, looked into antivirus and firewall and they seem okay.

Check your connection in Status and Interface settings window.
Use Test Server in Config > Servers.
We will probably ask you to do a test using only basic settings. - Do you experience problems during repair or unpacking?
Enable +Debug logging in the Status and Interface settings window and share the relevant parts of the log here using [ code ] sections.

Re-install SABnzbd, maybe the file is corrupt.
Then open a CMD prompt and type (with quotes):
"c:\program files\sabnzbd\win\par2\par2.exe"
or (for 64bit systems).
"c:\program files (x86)\sabnzbd\win\par2\par2.exe"
You should see a lot of help text, but no error messages.
If that doesn't help go to Config->Special and set the option par2_multicore off.
If the problem is persistent, there may be an issue with your hardware.
Then open a CMD prompt and type (with quotes):
