ability to scan watched folder while paused

hi i have a recommendation to make

is it possible to scan the watched folder while paused , i do it and nothing happens , but if i quickly unpause and click scan then repause it it scans

The watched folder is always scanned, regardless of pause state.
The fact that you need to click "scan" probably means that you have disabled it.
Either by setting the time interval to 0 or by setting a scheduled scan event.
