Incomplete Downloads

Post by kiteazubi »

Hello,

I am running sabnzbd version 0.7.20 on a QNAP TS-212 NAS. I always had problems with incomplete downloads (Repair failed, not enough repair blocks)
but now nearly every download stucks into this problem!! If I move the mouse cursor over the job title in the queue, it shows me a huge number of missing articles!

Facts are:
- If I download the same NZB I get the same message again - but if I then merge the two download folders by using the bigger version of a file - the repair and unpack task are successful.
- If I download the same NZB file with the download software from the provider (aeton CommunicaEtor) on my laptop I never have one incomplete download!!

So what is the problem with sabnzbd? What can I do?
Hope someone can help me!!

Possibly your provider uses non-mainstream Usenet server software.
SABnzbd has no trouble with the popular providers.
Try tweaking the timeout in Config->Servers, don't set it too low, 60 is usually a safe bet.
Also, try enabling Config->Switches->"Send group"

thx shypike!!
timeout and send group options didn't help
but you were totaly right with your presumption - I changed the provider and now every download is complete
