Newbie help required [Sonarr]

Post by Mountaingoat »

I have setup SABnzbd with Sonarr. I can see the downloads coming into SABnzbd and the files created in the incomplete folder. From there my files totally disappear and I cant find anything.

So I did a manual download in SABnzbd and got a ERROR: : Unable to find "file name". part 73.rar...what does this mean.

I am also not sure I have all the various folders setup correctly between the two i.e. SABnzbd and Sonarr. Is there a laymans guide on this.

Also setting up categories in SABnzbd. THe various settings etc are so vaguely described.

Thanks

So I found this File in SABnzbd

@echo off
rem Example of a post processing script for SABnzbd

echo.
echo Running in directory "%~d0%~p0"
echo.
echo The first parameter (result-dir) = %1
echo The second parameter (nzb-name) = %2
echo The third parameter (nice name) = %3
echo The fourth parameter (newzbin #) = %4
echo The fifth parameter (category) = %5
echo The sixth parameter (group) = %6
echo The seventh parameter (status) = %7
echo The eigth parameter (failure_url)= %8
echo.

And this from the wiki

1 The final directory of the job (full path)
2 The original name of the NZB file
3 Clean version of the job name (no path info and ".nzb" removed)
4 Indexer's report number (if supported)
5 User-defined category
6 Group that the NZB was posted in e.g. alt.binaries.x
7 Status of post processing. 0 = OK, 1=failed verification, 2=failed unpack, 3=1+21, -1=failed download
8 URL to be called when job failed (if provided by the server, it is always sent, so check parameter 7!) The URL is provided by some indexers as the X-DNZB-Failure header.2

Still not sure what I should be doing here. Can someone guide me. Also what should the file extension be....it is currently cmd, I see sickbeard one is cfg.

First things first:

Make sure SABnzbd itself can download files. Go to http://www.binsearch.info/index.php?q=T ... &postdate= , pick one of the file files, create and download the NZB, feed it to SABnzbd, let SABnzbd download, and post back the result.

I don't know sonarr, so I can't help you with that.
