Hmmm
I executed this command
Code: Select all
unrar x filename.part01.rar > RAROUT.txt
and the file extracted without errors!!!
I am attaching the RAROUT.txt file
So the problem is (forget everything else) this:
sabnzbd+ says I have crc errors , , BUT if i manual unrar them there is no problem

Actually unrar is telling SABnzbd that there are CRC errors.
SABnzbd simply runs the unrar installed on the system.
Of course it could be that there is some mis-communication between the two.
I see you use unrar 3.80 Beta2.
Maybe you should try 3.80 final:
http://www.rarlab.com/rar/rarlinux-3.8.0.tar.gz
(The rar-part is payware, the unrar-part is free-ware).
I'll do some further tests tonight.

This version is the latest based to my distro (ubuntu 8.10)
I manually installed the 3.80 final
I'll try now to re download the above mentioned nzb and see what happens this time....

Second download finished OK too (the one about some guy who needs to be saved).
I'm getting a bit suspicious about your system, especially the unrar you are using.

Once again
thank you VERY much
I am now using unrar 3.80 final (the one you gave me) and I am redownloading a nzb that had a problem , to see what happens
Since I know that the files I am downloading are rather big,plz wait until I see what happens with this version of unrar
I'll post results in one hour
