Certain processes won't use categories

Post by tpamaral »

I use Sick Beard Build 507 as my PVR, SABnzbd 0.7.20 to download, and nzb.su as my indexer. I am having issues with categories. If a TV show download is initiated by Sickbeard, it will end up in my user defined folder on a external HD connected to my WDTV Live Hub Media Center. If I manually add a show, either by executing the nzb directly or by placing it in my cart, it will download to the default folder on my hard drive. Then I have to transfer it to the external HD. For movies, however I initiate the download, it will always go to my default folder no matter what I have defined the download location to be in categories. This has not always been the case. In the past (1 year or so), everything worked fine. I have tried everything I could think of and still no change.

Please help me get this category stuff straightened out so I don't have to transfer the files manually all the time.

Thx,

Tim

SickBeard sets a category (TV).
Manually entered NZB do not have a category, unless you set one manually.
Or if you map indexer categories to your own.
Of course, it's also possible to the the path of the "Default" category to where you want the download to go.
