Download failed. Others do not get this, I have ran tests.

Hi all,

So I setup Sickrage and all seems to great on that front. When a episode is snatched it is sent to Sabnzbd and starts to download, this is where I am finding my error.

The download speed sits at around 0kb/s - 14kb/s and finishes the file within a few seconds, the files are always bigger than 100MB so this is clearly not right. After a search around I found this could be caused by the file being taken down from the server, that makes sense but I have a friend with the same setup as me that can download this file using the same NZB no problem at all.

I was on a different host (newshosting.com) so I decided it must just be there server and moved to the same host as my friend (Astraweb.com). After downloading a episode again I get the same problem. I have run this test with my friend using the same everything (version of Sabzbd, Sickrage, Python, NZB etc) yet they are able to download successfully and I am not.

After this test I decided to run another test and changed to another host on a trial (tweaknews.eu), using the same NZB I was able to successfully download the file with no problems.

I am using SSL with all of these hosts, I have changed ports, changed the server (some have eu and main servers) and all kinds of combinations of settings with the hosts Newshosting and AstraWeb but cannot get them to download anything with Sickrage. This is also odd because I have CouchPotato and I rarely get a failed download using that and the same host.

This seems pretty random bareing in mind my friend can download the same file using the same NZB file and the same host yet I cannot.

Any help with this problem would be great, I have been at this for around a week now running a few tests and reading about the web for a solution but still I have found no solution.
