I am on the latest release and have had a lot of instances recently where the enabled-by-default Quick Check succeeds, but then the unrar fails. If I do a manual check with QuickPar, it finds several broken files and repairs them.
Can I ask how the Quick Check works, and why it is failing to see that there are broken files? If I disable Quick Check, SAB does a full PAR2 check on every download and successfully repairs them, but I'd like to avoid doing that if possible. Might it be due to my settings or something the uploaders are doing?

Check your connection in Status and Interface settings window.
Use Test Server in Config > Servers.
We will probably ask you to do a test using only basic settings. - Do you experience problems during repair or unpacking?
Enable +Debug logging in the Status and Interface settings window and share the relevant parts of the log here using [ code ] sections.

SABnzbd uses the same CRC check as does par2 verification.
