My Synology is getting older and older, so when bigger downloads are corrupted it keeps on repairing for over 24 hours. Is it possible to set a parameter somewhere that if more then 5% needs to be repaired or more than 100MB (orso), please do NOT repair it?
I already set the 'do not download during repair'-parameter, but that is not really speeding up things.
Do NOT repair if (ie) more than 5% is corrupted

Re: Do NOT repair if (ie) more than 5% is corrupted
The problem is that SABnzbd doesn't really know beforehand what the percentage will be.
Re: Do NOT repair if (ie) more than 5% is corrupted
Thanks for the fast reply!
It knows how much it will download (maybe only after the download is completed), so somewhere it is aware of some sizing? I personally prefer to download ie 500MB PAR2-blocks to decide after this repairing is going to take too much time.

Re: Do NOT repair if (ie) more than 5% is corrupted
We do have an obscure option called Config->Specials->"never_repair".
When using that, no repair attempt will be made and only complete downloads will unpack.
You can then choose to do any repairs (and unpacking) on a PC or Mac.

Thanks! I am going to try that one for a while.
