Fixed. Reverted to 0.5.2.

I was thinking of connection overhead, but running 'top' in a shell shows hardly any of the 2GB of memory available being used.

UPDATE: The download completed sucessfully with an avergae rate of 1MB/s.

So my next question is: is it normal for sab to behave the way I've been describing?

Also, why doesn't it work with SSL enabled and a large queue of downloads?

What should I try next?
