Ok.
I've done more extensive testing.
I typically download 8-15GB files. I use Astraweb as my main download service and easynews as my backup.
I signed up with Supernews and use it as my backup and now things work much better. I'll experiment further and post my results.

based on searches for similar posts from other users, it may be that the par files may not be named correctly. also, some of the failed jobs i have are caused by Astraweb removing par files from certain shows. they leave rar files, but remove 1 block from each one and leave 1 par file, but all the o...

Hi. i'm running sabnzbd+ 0.56 on ubuntu 10.04.1 i386. most of my nzb files download properly. on occassion, i get failed downloads. upon examination, it appears that sabnzbd does not download the PAR files even though they are in the NZB file and show up as waiting.
