I checked the sabnzbdplus file in /etc/init.d/ and didn't see the clean option specified. Is there any other location I should check to see if this is specified? Thank so much for your help!

Yes, the admin and cache folders are stored on the HD. I checked the cache folder and the contents were as follows:
bookmarks.sab
bytes9.sab
postproc1.sab
queue9.sab
rss_data.sab
watched_data.sab
As for the history, it is perfect and always remains even after a reboot.

Hi shypike, First, I don't have a NAS, its a Nettop box with XBMC running on it with SABnzbd. Second, I don't just power it off/on, but rather preform a regular reboot from the GUI or via SSH. Also, I have tried shutting down SABnzbd via the GUI (Home Tab-->Shutdown) and then rebooted the Nettop box...
