Sorry for the delay. Had not much time. I made a short test on a second machine (deinstalled Bitdefender). And as far as my short test could prove the issue is gone. Now the problem is, I cannot remove Bitdefender on my main pc. I need a good antivirus and firewall programm and my Bitdefender Licens...

I'll try this the next days and give an update. Thanks so far.

I had a short test with the defaul (after SABnzbd starts again  and the issue is  the same. SABnzbd is after some clicks, where it reacts normal, really slow.
It is really strange because on both of my two windows pcs the issue occurs. I wonder why no one else has this problem.

That's was it. I started the console.exe from cmd, then I got the error that the sabnzbd.ini file is not valid. I had a look and it seemed to me that it is incomplete. After deleting it SABnzbd starts :-)

I'm using Bitdefender and already tried also to run SABnzbd with stopped Firewall. And remember. Until yesterday all runned well. Today, without installing or deinstalling anything SABnzbd didn't start anymore. Oh, also a different port I tried, unfortunately without success. Could maybe a complete ...

Log Files deleted. No new are created when starting.
Also the SABnzbd-console.exe has the same issue.

I updated to the newest version. Still the same.

Additionally I have the problem with all websites I view in the browser. As long as the SABNZBD Gui is running all websites are hanging sometimes. So nearly no browsing is possible.

I normal use firefox 2x.
But I also tried the IE.

No the prozess need nearly no cpu, and memory only 17MB.

When it hangs and I click different "buttons", all buttons are pressed very fast after each other when sabnzb reacts again (hope you'll understand what I mean with this).

All is running on the local machine.
It's a normal XP Workstation without any server services.

As said in my first post, my queue is empty at the moment.
I deactivated the firewall, but still the same.
It's strange.
Should I try another version?
