Sab API: Add NZB by URL - but can I give it a name?
Hey I'm having trouble with the API - I can pass an NZB by URL, but sabnzbd does not return an ID that I can then use to rename the queue item. I was wondering if there was a way to bypass the problem altogether and just pass a name at the same time as adding the NZB. The API doesn't mention this ...

Re: sabnzbd on my 100 mbits server
FAIL. That's like buying a $200,000 sports car and then driving slower than the speed limit through a school zone.
I regularly pull 6MB/sec on my 50mbit connection. Your 100Mbit connection sounds about as good as your average crapcast cable.

Re: Sabnzbd 0.4.2 Mac Testing Results and Observations
For now I'm going back to Unison - which is a shame. Sabnzbd is just dog slow. I can't even get old versions to perform like they used to.

Re: Sabnzbd 0.4.2 Mac Testing Results and Observations
I think maybe sabnzbd would be going fast again if it wasn't losing the connection every second or two.
Unfortunately I don't know how to solve that.

Sabnzbd 0.4.2 Mac Testing Results and Observations
For about a week and a half now, I have been getting dog slow speeds from Usenet. Having explored all links from my provider, to my isp, to my router firmware, to my own computer, I decided to attempt to undertake a thorough test of download speeds from different NZB downloaders, specifically Sabnz...

sabnzbd for Mac (0.4.0 - latest) SLOW!
Hey I've noticed that the latest version has some major problems downloading from giganews. I have tested very aspect of my connection, routing, and software and have determined the problem is in fact sabnzbd. My usual download speeds average around 5-6MB/sec, but with this new version I am lucky ...

Change Default Browser
Hey all - I'm using the SABnzbd build for OS X found here: http://osx.boiboite.net/ . What I'm wondering is if there is any way to change the default browser application that SABnzbd opens when started. I have created a new dedicated app using fluid (http://fluidapp.com/) that will open the SAB bro...

par2 queue
My idea: An option would allow you to set all par2 files to sit in a queue. If the files unrar successfully, the queue is deleted. If not, the par2 files are downloaded and the file set is reprocessed. The net effect is that, for those with limited bandwidth, you could save a lot of bandwidth/spac...
