Re: Downloads that need repair failing on Unraid Docker install but not on MacOS install
Swapped the RAM for another set of known good RAM. The system seems to be behaving now. RAM made the most sense because I had gone as far as to change the share that SABnzbd was downloading and unpacking to. Thank you very much for the needed perspective. I was so down the rabbit hole of software so...

Re: Downloads that need repair failing on Unraid Docker install but not on MacOS install
I am starting to think this is some sort of permissions issue on the Unraid system, but I can't figure out what it is. The reason why I say that is that I watched my download fail in the following manner: 1. Progress through the download as normal 2. Proceed to verification and progress through that...

Thanks for that. Downloads that need repair failing on Unraid Docker install but not on MacOS install
I'm running into an odd issue with my SABNZBd docker install on Unraid. Downloads that require a repair seem to be failing somewhat regularly, even if there are enough par files to repair them. It goes through the download and verification process, and then sometimes even gets into the repair proces...

Very slow unrar for passworded archives
Hi all, I'm noticing something on my SABnzbd installation that I don't really understand. The system is VERY slow when unraring passworded archives. Like, almost an order of magnitude slower. A typical 10GB archive set that is not password protected can be unarchived in about 3 minutes or so. A simi...

Re: Speed drops substantially after a few minutes...
Shortly after my last post, I started seeing the same behavior in other clients, and on other machines. This, to me, rules out SABnzbd as the source of the problem. My apologies for not posting sooner, but I wound up out of town and without network access. In the intervening time, my ISP and NNTP bi...

Re: Speed drops substantially after a few minutes...
Interestingly, this issue seems to have progressed. Now once the speed drop occurs, each connection maxes out at 12KB/s, half of what it used to. Is there somewhere that SABnzbd hides files other that the configurable folders and the .sabnzbd directory? I feel like I'm not doing a complete wipe when...

Re: Speed drops substantially after a few minutes...
Also, I'm sure that it's not an ISP issue, because what SABnzbd does is drop to about 25KB/s per connection. If I add more connections, I can up the dropped speed. Typically I use 3 connections to the server, which drops to around 70-75KB/s. If I use 20 connections, when the speed drops it goes to a...

Re: Speed drops substantially after a few minutes...
Rogers, in Canada. That was my first thought, but were that the case I'd expect to see speed drops no matter which client I'm using. It only happens with SABnzbd though.

Speed drops substantially after a few minutes...
So I'm downloading a bunch of stuff, and it's been humming along fine since Friday at 1200KB/s. However, sometime over the night or early in the morning, something happened, because when I checked it the speed was only 70KB/s. I paused and resumed the queue, and full speed returned, but after a few ...
