I have been using sabnzb for some time, had no issues before, id use the nzb from bd25.eu, sabnzb would do its thing, then id use makemkv to make an mkv for plex. Since a few months now, makemkv wont open the index.bdmv file, nor will vlc. So i inspected the index file in notepad and found the above...

I tried opening the file in notepad and this is the kind of thing shown -

Is there a setting in sab that needs to be on or off to resolve this?

Hi have sabnzdb, it used to work fine with bd25 dot eu and super news but now, they all fail with aborted cannot be completed. Even with recent uploads.
Any ideas people ?

Yes, I have changed the option in setting to use 8...let’s hooe all,is now resolved.

Thanks. I edit the file using my iPad with an app called Textforce, that must be the source of the issue.
Will see how I can get round the issue.

I can’t find a enable debug logging, only a show logging and t prompts where to save. Shall I send ou that file after an error?

Hi,
I’m getting this message
“Unpacking failed, 'utf8' codec can't decode byte 0xff in position 0: invalid start byte”
When sabnz uses a password file with for example "ÿþxxxxxxx" where xxxxxx is the actual password in the text document.
Any ideas?
