I just followed a thread online with setting up multithreaded par2 for sabnzbd. I have sabnzbd installed on ubuntu 14.04. It had me remove par2 via sudo apt-get remove --purge par2 Then unpack and copy the new par2 over which was 2 files, par2 and libtbb.so.2 and chmod them sudo cp * /usr/local/bin/...
