Does that mean SABNZBD is pretty much running as best as it's going to on my NAS? That's a shame.

NZBget downloads around 32MB/s, as do other internet applications on the NAS. I get around 100MB/s over SMB.

I prefer the look and feel of SABNZBD, but looks like I might need to move to NZBget to obtain full performance.

I just set the article cache to 512M and lowered my connections from 15 to 8, then restarted SABNZBD. So far there's no difference in download performance. I have SABNZBD 0.7.20 installed on a Synology DS1813+ NAS. For some reason, I never get much more than 12MB/s for downloads.
