Thanks for your reply. Just tried it and though I can manually add something to the queue, it won't download...

I installed SABNZBD and Sickbeard a number of days ago. It worked smoothly, downloading at acceptable speeds for my location, for about 2 days, and then the other day SABNZB just stopped downloading, or at least slow down so much (to a few bits) that it would take years to download anything.
