Re: Server Priority issue?
So downloaded the 100mb file and it was completely downloaded by NewsHosting. No bandwidth on secondary server.

Re: Server Priority issue?
So maybe I am not understanding then. If I have just Newshosting enabled and not the secondary server, SAB starts having missing articles, then "aborted, could not be completed". Does that mean that none of the files are available on Newshosting? Or SOME are missing? I tested the download ...

Re: Server Priority issue?
The second server is a block account. I didn't let it run the whole 1GB to not run down my block. But I can if you really need me to?
It was evenly using both servers and both stayed about the same amount downloaded.

Re: Server Priority issue?
It is using both servers equally it seems. I reset the counters for both servers before downloading the file.

Server Priority issue?
Howdy, I use NewsHosting unlimited as my primary server. I was having a lot of fail downloads so I decided to try a block account to help. I signed up for Usenet.farm trial block account. After inputting my info into SAB, I tried a download that has been failing. The "check" went fine wher...

Re: Network Connection dropping.
So I have been messing around with SAB tonight, and I guess something I messed with fixed the problem. YAY. I switched to a non SSL port, and messed with connections, and it seemed to work. I put it back on SSL and kept the connections at 10 and now it is working. I will let it download overnight to...

Re: Network Connection dropping.
I didn't have time to install it on the Mac last night, but I did reinstall it on my HTPC. Still same problem, although I should have deleted the settings. I didn't have much time, so I just uninstalled and reinstalled. Hopefully I will have more time tonight.

Re: Network Connection dropping.
No, I have not tried SAB on the Mac. Yes, I know there is a difference in what the cable company says is your speed and what is the actual speed. Maybe I get more than 8Mbits. I will try SAB on the Mac tonight. Thanks for your help so far sander.

Re: Network Connection dropping.
That is correct. I also tried it on my Mac, with the other newsgroup software and it works fine there also. Just SAB on the HTPC. Pretty sad about this problem. I cannot finish automating my brand new HTPC without getting this up and running.

Re: Network Connection dropping.
My computer is hooked up via Ethernet cable. I have tried all different amounts of connections. 2,10,15 and 30. I always limit the speed, but have also tried it unlimited and it comes back the same. Network connection drops after about a minute. When I limit it I set it on 1.6 Mb a sec. I have an 8M...

So I started another download of another file, and it got to about a GB at full speed, then my connection shut off. Anyone have any idea?

Network Connection dropping.
Howdy. I have a problem. Every time SAB starts and begins to download, my whole network connection shuts down. The file will be downloading for around 1-2 minutes then my whole network connection goes down. I have read other posts, and I will walk through what I have done to try and remedy. SAB ver ...
