that did the trick - i've got further debugging to do for the conditional logic in the template, but at least that directory is sticking in the prefs now.

unfortunately, that doesn't appear to be the problem. i get the same behavior in chrome & safari both, even after clearing all local content from sab... anything else you can think to try, or further diagnostic information that i can provide? alternatively, i suppose that i might be able to manu...

yes - same system and same user account, and this is with chrome (i believe the latest version, but i'm not currently in front of that machine to check)
