I assume pre-check is the same as the "Check before download" setting in the "Switches" menu? That feature is not enabled in my configuration, so maybe the other thread is not related.

Hi, I am seeing the exact same thing with stalled downloads using 0.7.4 together with easynews using SSL. I am running sabnzbd on a Synology box, which makes it a bit difficult to downgrade to 0.7.3. Restarting sabnzbd makes the downloads resume at full speed for a short while. Could it be similar t...
