I'd appreciate that. Seems to me that at the time a feed is added, as long as it's a correctly formatted feed and was read correctly, it should be considered the "first batch" even if no content is present. Subsequent additions to the feed should be downloaded as usual.

No problem. I haven't tried running SABnzbd on a NAS. Hope you can get it working reliably. Don't know much about the Popcorn Hour. Why is the mount necessary? Cant you use a UNC path to the popcorn hour share?

Nzbindex.nl has really good search based RSS feeds, so I generally set them up so I can accept everything at the SABnzbd level. If what you suggest is true I guess I'll just have to manually download the first item in a feed, or create the feed so that it matches at least one item right away. Thanks...

In my opinion one of the most important things you can do to guarantee the best speed is to use SSL on port 443. Anything other than that and your traffic is a lot more likely to be categorized as usenet downloads and subject to ISP throttling.

How are you doing your downloads? Manually or through rss? I do almost everything through rss feeds and apply categories to the individual feeds. So, one rss feed per TV series, and the category sets the individual folder where each series ends up.
