Ok, scratch my last post. It looks like I had a filesystem/hard drive issue which caused the filesystem to get re-mounted as RO. Doesn't appear to be a sab issue.

I've been seeing the same behavior here. I'm running Ubuntu 12.04 and originally saw this issue with standard Ubuntu repo version of sab 0.6.15.
