well, malware came up with several bugs, so I quaranteened those, reset my system to an earlier date, and voila, it's working again.

no luck I'm afraid, everything else opens with exe but not sabnzbd.

Thaks for helping: I'm clicking the program icon in 'start' which is '"C:\Program Files\SABnzbd\SABnzbd.exe"', and trying to get the program to run. Instead of sabnzbd opening, it tries to open expressions. Hope this is more clear.

HI Something I've never encountered before! When I try to open sabnzbd, microsoft expression opens. I've checked in programs(86) folder and still when I click on the sabnzbd icon In the folder, up comes expression. I disabled expression, tried again, and now it opens ms word. Any ideas?

sorry to ask such basic questions but would appreciate any help. Trying to connect to giganews for first time: tried ports 8080 119 563 8090 8095 but no luck. I'm using win 7 home premium, 64 bit. I've listed Sab in the firewall exceptions, My ip is sky.
Any help appreciated.
