No, because sabnzbd treats everything after the slash as being the password, not part of the filename.safihre wrote:Don't they get replaced automatically when you turn on Safe filenames for Windows in the Config? Since forward slash is not allowed on Windows.

Re: Possible to automatically replace slashes in filenames?
Slashes in job names ar very unusual, that's why we use that character. If you insist on using them, you can write a little pre-queue script to do the conversion of slashes yourself. I mean, they're no so unusual that this isn't an issue. I downloaded 22 releases today that included forward slashes...

Possible to automatically replace slashes in filenames?
Or otherwise prevent sabnzbd from automatically treating everything after a slash as a password for the archive? The setting to replace illegal characters in filenames seems to do its thing after sabnzbd has already cut the download name in half by treating the slash as a password delineator.

Is it possible to put username and password in the URL?
I've seen instructions for putting username and password in the API/RSS URL, but I tried formatting it to have it in the standard address ([address]:[port]/sabnzbd/) and couldn't get it to work. Alternatively, is it possible to whitelist a specific IP address to not require username and password? I ...

Resuming a partial download that is not in the queue?
My problem is a result of what I'm pretty sure is a bug, but the solution seems like something you should be able to do in general. The problem is that my HD with my temp folder got full during a download. The stopped the downloads, and I couldn't get them to resume after making space on that drive....

Re: After adding an .nzb, download doesn't start for minutes
We are not on the same ISP account, nor even have the same ISP. That could be the cause. Most Usenet providers do no allow sharing and they know because they see two IP addresses connect simultaneously. Even non-simultaneous usage can be a problem, because they require a waiting period between swit...

Re: After adding an .nzb, download doesn't start for minutes
So you're sharing your Usenet account? Downloading at the same time? Do you share the same ISP account? Do you have in Config->Switches, the option "Disconnect on empty queue" on (you should). Thanks for the reply. We are sharing a Usenet account, but it should allow 20 simultaneous conne...

After adding an .nzb, download doesn't start for minutes
After helping my girlfriend setup sabnzdb (using my usenet server access), she's having a fairly annoying problem. Anytime she adds an .nzb, it takes anywhere from 2 to 15 minutes for the download to actually start. I realize that there are probably a lot of possible causes for this, but I'd like so...
