Gotcha.
Category "tv" is now Script=autoProcessTV.py
and
Sorting->Series Sort=tv .AND. Default
Thx

Re: SAB not putting ep's in proper folder
Awesome. Thanks. I've added a new category as: TV (which gets converted to lowercase upon saving) | Priority=Normal | Processing=+Delete | Script=Default | Folder/Path=NULL | Groups/Indexer tags=TV* Under Config=>Sorting=>Series Sorting I highlighted "tv" and selected "Save Changes&qu...

Re: SAB not putting ep's in proper folder
Okay, so what should I have there? Again, it was working fine for a time after install and then for some reason stopped working. I don't know if it was something I did that caused it. To whom should I report this as a bug? If I did not cause this then it is a bug that should have some error-checking...

Re: SAB not putting ep's in proper folder
I hope I'm not being overly obtuse but I don't understand
This is my current sorting,

And my current categories,

I believe they're pretty much as installed?

Re: SAB not putting ep's in proper folder
(...continued from previous post) Directly after copying the known-good backup of sabnzbd.ini over the existing active copy, then moving the exact same NZB from \Backups to \1.Watch, SAB downloaded the file again and this time it DID move the file to the proper \Season 7 folder: 2012-05-07 23:15:44,...

Re: SAB not putting ep's in proper folder
I *think* I understand. :) Please bear with me. As I learn more about SAB (and Sickbeard) I'll be able to formulate my questions and hypotheses better. I don't see anything about the NZB filename nor its contents that might trigger SAB to create a new folder instead of place it in the appropriate Se...

Re: SAB not putting ep's in proper folder
I will certainly look into using Sickbeard as the post-processor if we can't find a solution to this problem. Please correct me if I'm wrong but SAB and Sickbeard pretty much work autonomously to each other. Each in their own sandbox, so-to-speak, and pass messages back and forth via file (NZB) and ...

Re: SAB not putting ep's in proper folder
And how right you are. The number of files in INCOMPLETE also appears to be a red herring. After a short period of time downloading episodes and placing them into their proper Season folders, followed by a day of SAB not running at all... I fired it up tonight and it arbitrarily decided to start unp...

Re: SAB not putting ep's in proper folder
That's good to hear. Maybe my efforts haven't been entirely in vain.
Hopefully we've supplied enough information for the developer(s) to quickly zero in on the cause.

Re: SAB not putting ep's in proper folder
After setting the log files to Debug I went gallivanting about town, came home and found a bunch of files downloaded. Good examples of the problem. Grabbing my Deerstalker hat, Meerschaum pipe and 5x 3.5" magnifier I decided to do some good ol' fashioned hacking. Inspecting my SABNZBD.INI file ...

Re: SAB not putting ep's in proper folder
It seems you don't use categories. Correct. As of this moment I do not. Once I figure out how they work, I may. In that case click on the dropdown menu in Sorting. Under Config->Sorting I do not find any drop-downs. Only pick-lists. And those are labeled "Affected Categories" with "D...

Re: SAB not putting ep's in proper folder
Well, like I said, I haven't really done anything with categories. Couldn't make much sense out of it so I was saving it for later. To somehow differentiate between TV shows and movies. So under categories there are just two entries. The first is called "Default" (greyed out) with Priority...

Re: SAB not putting ep's in proper folder
CSIs MKVs are averaging 1.4GB each. Another show was averaging 2.4GB MKVs. A 3rd ancient show was averaging 500MB AVIs. Since whatever happened... happened, all show episodes are now getting their own individual folders instead of going into their respective SHOW\SEASON folder. Regardless of size. E...

Re: SAB not putting ep's in proper folder
Okay, the Beta unfortunately did not change the problem.
I watched SAB finish a download, Verify and Unpack. It then created the folder;
D:\TV\CSI Miami S05E15 720p WEB-DL H264 containing the MKV video file instead of moving the MKV to;
D:\TV\CSI Miami\Season 5\episode.MKV

Re: SAB not putting ep's in proper folder
I think SF's back: https://sourceforge.net/projects/sabnzbdplus/files/sabnzbdplus-beta/ Thanks. Downloading now. Just click Help in Config->Scheduler. Shouldn't the following limit download speeds to 600kBps between the hours of 8am and 2am, then leave the download unfettered outside those hours? 8...
