Re: Download Slows To Bytes/Second

sander wrote:OK, good.

Now realize this:
ISP's use "Mbps"
Speedtest.net uses "Mbps"
SABnzbd uses ... "MB/s" (or kB/s)

... so be careful what you set in SABnzbd
OK, sorry.

No, you're not. You're on a 3 MB/s line a.k.a. 30 Mbps. There is a big difference between B and b ... a factor 10.
OK, I was wrong. 30 Mbps down, not 3.0 MBps.

Re: Download Slows To Bytes/Second

what you are asking about...! I'm saying my downloads slow down to an extreme crawl. They will download @ 3 MB/s just fine for a while, then it slows down to an extremely low B/s. I know Charter traffic shapes, but I don't know what to set my max download to to avoid it. I know I'm capable of it be...

Download Slows To Bytes/Second

My downloads were all coming down blazing fast, I'm on a 30 MB/s down line and I get consistently around there or better. My ISP is Charter. I'm hard wired in. I capped my download at 3 MB/s, and had no issues for a couple hours.

How old are the posts?
Did you set a "retention" time for the server? You should not, if you have only one.
Posts are the following:
622 days
618 days
479 days

Retention time is set to 0 days.

Download failed - Out of your server's retention?

I'm trying to download some files and I keep getting this error specifically for each of them. If you need more of the log let me know and I can post more. Using Usenetserver, 20 connections, I'm the only one on it. I've had no other issues downloading anything else I've tried. Here's a sample from ...

Previous Download Goes From 0 MB done to 900 MB Very Quick

Hello, So I had an issue previously with horrible download speeds. I have that resolved, but now, I tried doing a download I had previously but when it finished it was pretty much corrupt, which didn't surprise me. I had a bunch of abrupt shutdowns and other issues when trying to resolve the speed i...

Re: Horrible Download Speeds!

I read the article, and I quote: Basically, if your node is congested, and you've been at 85% or more of your down pipe for 15 minutes, then you go into the low priority state for some period of time. Then you come out of it. If the node is congested you'll go right back in after a bit. The threshol...

Horrible Download Speeds!

I just upgraded from AT&T to Comcast Xfinity, I'm paying for 15 down and 4 up, and last time I checked I'm getting around 13 down and 4 up, at least that is what my last speed test showed. Here is one I just ran: http://www.speedtest.net/result/1780488636.png Anyway, I'm getting around 100 kb/s ...
