i see the official "latest" version is 0.6.10 but if you use the JCFP repository you get 0.6.11RC1...

I'm going to download 0.6.10 and install from source to see if this makes a difference.

As per original post - i have setup SABnzbd on a windows machine using the same ports (119 or 563) and same local ip address and it downloads without a problem. So it cant be firewall or ISP as they wouldn't distinguish between the OS's. I've tried changing to news.eu.supernews.com but no difference...

I've checked and doublechecked global and individual pause. Also checked schedules - there are none. With regard to the connections. If i pause and unpause (global) then i will see connections built e.g. Server: news.supernews.com Status: Enabled # Connections: 5 Article identifier filename File set...

Tried numerous nzb's - all are less than one week old. The same nzbs work 100% in Windows version of SABnzbd...

No - when i click "Test Server" (using my exising provider - supernews) the connection is successful. I have tried both 119 and 563 (SSL) - both are successful. If i watch my router or firewall interface (e.g. netflow) i can see the connection going through and there it downloads about 1-3...
