That did the trick. I renamed my sabnzbd.ini and created a new one through the wizard. Afterwards I opened the new server section and copied it back into the renamed ini file. Then I renamed the ini files backed and started the "service" again. I worked like a charm. Thnx for the suggestion.

Optional authentication for servers
Hi, I'd like to use the newsserver from my provider which is for free. But the free and "speed limited" account must be used without username password. Now I found out if you leave those fields blank the username and passwords are still used. So I can not use these free newsservers. Is it ...
