Re: Extremely long par check and unrar time.
I have a USB 2.0 Harddrive hooked up to my Ubuntu server (an old Pentium III) My last DVD5 job took only 320 seconds to unrar (from the internal hard drive to the external drive). That's not bad. Actually the par2 program needed 520 seconds to verify without repairs (that is on the internal drive)....

Re: Extremely long par check and unrar time.
You're performing already-lengthy I/O-intensive operations over a relatively slow USB 2.0 link. Don't do that. There's nothing we can do to help you with your situation apart from telling you not to do that. That's strange, because when I hook up that same external disk to my laptop (again, over us...

Re: Extremely long par check and unrar time.
first of all, how fast is your external harddrive? how log does it take to par check and unrar it manually (quickpar and winrar you can use to do this). Do you do any other heavy process at the same time like gaming (server), video editing, active webserver, active ftp server or anything else? The ...

Extremely long par check and unrar time.
Hello all, I'm pretty sure this is not a sabnzbd bug, but I thought I'd try explaining my problem here and see if anyone can help me with this problem. I have sabnzbd installed on a server (running XP SP1), which is a Athlon XP1800+ with 512mb ram and a 40gig IDE harddrive. Connected to it, is a ext...

Re: sabnzbdplus won't load (quits after a few seconds)
No such thing as that directory. Also, when starting the safe mode the console appears, some sentences appear but it quits itself to fast to be able to read it. Is there an option to keep the window from closing itself so I'm able to read what happens? and yes, I kept both installs seperat. edit: ok...

Re: sabnzbdplus won't load (quits after a few seconds)
Where would I find this log-file for 0.35? I found the one for 0.25 in /logs/ but did not find anything that could indicate a problem with not being able to add a server (or loading it from the .ini)
And I'm not using any firewall or anything.

sabnzbdplus won't load (quits after a few seconds)
Hi, I recently upgraded from 0.25 to the new sabnzbdplusplus. All was well, until last week when it would not load. When I start it up, I can see it running in taskmanager (if that makes any sense), with a normal memory load+cpu. But after only a few seconds it dissapears/quits itself, and I cannot ...
